Welcome to (the V1.1 version of) my website!
This was (more-or-less) how the front page looked!
I honestly still like it a lot in terms of visual aesthetic, but I'd made the way I set up the css and html for it so convoluted/messy that it was a pain to edit anything or apply the style to new pages, to the point I'd often take the "easy" way out by simply... making a completely new layout on each new page I'd made.
V1.1 was my attempt to clean up the css a little and otherwise pretty similar to V1.0, but as I began working on that, I realized that with the experience I'd gained since V1.0, I'd be able to make something I'd like much more if I started over from scratch.

This layout had three main "text box" styles: solid, semi-transparent, and without header/faux scrollbars. Different pages had... even more different boxes, though, because they often didn't quite do what I wanted them to do, and it was easier to make new boxes than to edit them.

| Mar. 14, 2026: | This was what my element for site updates looked like! It's a zebra-striped table that shows the most recent changelog, and then links to a full archive of updates at the bottom. |
| Mar. 12, 2026: | Started working on a new layout from scratch to replace this one; I wanted something that was easier to edit, simpler in appearance, and while at it, easier to make mobile-friendly pages for. Ultimately my website will always be a best-viewed-on-pc kind of website I think, especially with the type of content and games I put on it, but I'd like for it to not be completely unnavigable on mobile at least, haha. |
| Feb. 12, 2025: | V1.1: Experimented with a masonry layout on my main page. Set it up weirdly and hated editing it. Also edited my sidebar to load in with jQuery from a seperate file instead of having to edit my sidebar on every single page on the website any time I changed anything about my site's links. |
| Jun. 12, 2024: | Got beaten up by cops at a protest and began my descent into a much more annoying version of myself. This may seem unrelated to my site layout at first glance, but as it turns out, some things affect everything, actually.
